Created from an archive design, «Propolis» is a silk jacquard whose motif, close-up, recalls a beehive : the same twisted gold yarn seems to have been deposited in each of the eight-coloured cells. The silk satin warp adds brightness, creating matte and lustrous contrasts with the viscose and linen weft. The design repeats four times across the width. On a larger scale, we can perceive the scales of some fantastic animal who has decided to make their home on the azure-blue coast. This silk is ideal for making curtains, cushions and decorative seating. In eight very luxurious colours, Ivory, Bronze, Powder Pink, Arabesque, Celadon, Eternal Blue, Silver and Fuscous.
