Etoile of Jazz is a linen jacquard with a thick, dense weave. The cotton, woven in the warp, adds a hint of elasticity and softness. This fabric, in addition to the Moorish grey and alabaster colourways is available in two very luminous colourways: champagne and bronze. The depth, roughness of the vocal tones of the jazz groovers seem to be breathing out through the linen fibres. Its mechanically designed pattern, takes the form of a star. Musical genre inherited from the American deep south by the African-American communities, it has been around for a hundred years and has many sub-genres. Louis Armstrong, the American jazz trumpeter, was one of the greatest exponents at the start of the Thirties. Lire la suite
